Bible Text: James 5:7-12 | Preacher: Donnie Case | Series: PRACTICAL CHRISTIAN LIVING | A good definition of patience is “waiting without complaint.” It is hard to live out so we need the Holy Spirit at work within us. James knows that the Christian life is a long journey and growth is a process. It doesn’t happen overnight. In order to benefit from the process of growth, to prosper, and to be able to rejoice in the times of trial, we must have the proper focal point for our lives. James shares that with us in this passage. He’s also shows the symptoms that we are not demonstrating the kind of patience and endurance necessary for the Christian life.
